Man Found on Town Property with Narcotics and Facsimile Firearm
WETHERSFIELD - A Wethersfield man faces several charges after police found him in possession of drugs and a facsimile firearm.

       Police saw Gabriel Nowell Rocha-George, 19, of 335 Hartford Ave., in a vehicle on town property after operating hours. When approached, Rocha-George was found to be in possession of a facsimile firearm, 8.9 grams of marijuana, 1.0 grams of salvia, 13.5 MDMA pills and a large amount of small plastic bags, which are commonly used for sale of the narcotics, police said.

       Rocha-George was charged with possession of weapons in a vehicle, sale, carry and brand of facsimile firearm, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, manufacture/sale/distribution of marijuana and possession of greater than 1/2 oz. but less than 4 oz. marijuana, police said. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at New Britain Superior Court Feb. 11.
