Elderly Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Jordan Lane Crash
WETHERSFIELD - An pedestrian sustained serious injuries after he was hit last Tuesday, Nov. 26, on Jordan Lane.

       Police responded to a report at approximately 5:50 p.m. that David Holliday, 82, of Wethersfield, was struck by a vehicle in the roadway of Jordan Lane near the intersection of Buckland Road.

       â€"Numerous officers and ambulance personnel arrived on scene and treated [Holliday] for serious injuries. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was being treated for serious injuries,” Wethersfield Police said.

       The driver of the vehicle, Gaylene Sudano, 72, of South Windsor, stopped immediately and cooperated with police. Sudano did not sustain injuries, police said.

       Jordan Lane was closed from the Silas Deane Highway to Wolcott Hill Road while an investigation took place. Members of the Midstate Accident Reconstruction Team were on the scene and continue to investigate the accident, police said.
