CROMWELL - A sure sign the end of the school year is near for students at Edna C Stevens School is the arrival of the Art Gala and Ice Cream Social. This year students from Cromwell High School dished out delicious vanilla bean ice cream to students lined-up in the ECS kitchen and on down the hall. Proceeding into the cafe, students lined up to be served toppings by the teachers and staff from ECS and Woodside Intermediate School. The walls were filled with vibrant art--snow scenes, modern self-portraits, line drawings and three-dimensional scenes of marine life and snowy days.
