CROMWELL - On Friday, May 30, the Town of Cromwell paid tribute to veterans with its Memorial Day ceremony on Memorial Green, amidst bouts of rain, followed by its annual parade.

       Veterans, local and state officials, police and fire department personnel, Cromwell Man of the Year Jay Polke and Cromwell Woman of the Year Eleanor DiRenne, the Cromwell High Schoo marching band, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, little league members, local businesses and more made their way along the parade route under unsettled skies.
