Girl Scout Dog Wash Benefits Humane Society
CROMWELL - On Saturday, July 11, Girl Scout Troop 60303 of Cromwell held a Pet Supply Drive and Dog Wash at PetValu of Cromwell to benefit the Connecticut Humane Society. Scouts Eman Naeem, Lillian Kaminski, Zymal Naeem, Aliyana Cherry, Erika Kelly, Shea Gaughran and Eva Artioli, joined by Scout leaders Lauren Kaminski and Adrianne Kelly, helped wash approximately eight dogs while collecting monetary and supply donations for the Humane Society.

       The total amount raised was $207.50 and the group also donated one bag of towels, seven dog sweaters/coats, three toys, a four-pound bag of dog food, three dog chews, one bag of dog treats, and two bags of blankets.

       The Scout group thanked PetValu of Cromwell for generously allowing them to hold the fundraiser on site.
