CROMWELL - For the past 38 years, L & S Communications in Cromwell has been the source for specialty communication devices in the area.

       Owner Mike Lanteri established L & S Communications in 1977, carrying an assortment of consumer electronics, including CB radios, police and fire scanners, stereos and auto electronics. He also became the first cell phone provider in the town of Cromwell. The store carries smart phones from T-Mobile, GoSmart, Ultra Mobile and more, along with a selection of cellular accessories. The convenient pre-paid phones also include international calling options, popular with customers who regularly make non-domestic calls.

       The store carries a variety of microphones, antennae and other gadgets and gizmos for the tech-savvy consumer, and equipment such as the police and fire scanners are popular with volunteer emergency personnel.

       Lanteri is on-hand to offer his electronics expertise.

       On June 13, L & S Communications held a grand opening event for the store’s new location in the Crossroads Plaza, 34 Shunpike Rd., Cromwell.
