       Field Hockey

Newington made the Class LL tournament for the second straight season with a record of 8-6-1, but fell to Darien, 5-0, in the opening-round. The Indians should be in good shape next season with the return of standouts Symantha Fazzino, McKenna Gerander and Karlene Welles.
