Police Nab Rocky Hill Bank Robber
ROCKY HILL - A Bristol man has been arrested after allegedly robbing the First Niagara Bank in Rocky Hill last Monday, April 8.

       Joseph B. Clower, 42, of 69 Sunnydale Ave., Bristol, passed a teller a note at the First Niagara Bank located on the Silas Deane Highway, police said. No weapons were shown or implied. Bank employees triggered the panic alarm at 3:46 p.m. Clower was seen getting into a red car. Police apprehended Clower and charged him with first-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny. Police said Clower was also wanted by the West Hartford Police Department. Clower is held on $150,000 bond, with his next court date set for April 19.
