NEWINGTON - Do you like to laugh? Would you like to support your local gridiron greats?

       If the answers are yes, you’re in luck. The Newington High School Parents of Football Booster Club is presenting a night of sidesplitting comedy, featuring an impressive lineup of local comedians.

       The show is Friday night, Aug. 28th inside the VFW Hall located at 41 Veterans Drive in New Britain. It is an adult-only BYOB event and tickets are only $25. The price includes a pasta dinner, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and three of the area’s most hilarious comedians.

       The comedic-trio includes Hartford’s own John C. Hinton, the witty observations of David Casey, and the high-energy of funnyman Angel Rentas. All three have been touring the local landscape for years and are ready to make you burst out in laughter.

       The doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30. Showtime is 8!

       All the proceeds from the event go to benefit the Newington High School football program.
